April Fool’s Day, the official internet holiday, is long past.
But that doesn’t mean the fun has to stop.
For most of us, a well-done, harmless prank is a day lightener, whether it happens to us, or one of our coworkers.
Life is tough sometimes. We all need a good laugh.
Today’s FamilyFirst pick is Top 10 Harmless Geek Pranks.
I’ll review a couple of them. What puts fear into the heart of any Windows user? Why, the Blue Screen of Death (bsod), of course. Downloading and installing the bsod screensaver will cause much salty language to be spouted into the air when your coworker returns from a break.

Another goody: install the Firefox Total Confusion extension, and wait for next April 1. That’s the only day that the package does its meanness, including making the back button periodically jump back TWO pages, It also turns their Gmail inbox into that of the devil. The number of unread messages always totals exactly 666.
You don’t have to be a geek to enjoy geeky pranks. Have fun!
